Why It Works
- Poviguard brings the trusted antiseptic action of povidone-iodine directly to the mouth and throat. Available as a gargle and a convenient throat spray, it gives customers a choice of format for their daily routine. Laboratory studies have demonstrated povidone-iodine’s activity against a range of bacteria and viruses, while clinical studies have investigated its use as an oral gargle.
Indication
Antiseptic relief of sore throat and oropharyngeal infection; kills viruses, bacteria and fungi. (Mouthwash/Gargle 1% · 250 ml · Throat Spray 0.45% · 50 ml)

Posology & Administration
Gargle: as directed, several times daily; do not swallow. Spray: 1–4 applications to the throat per use, as directed.
