Esowin 20mg and 40mg Capsules contain esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that works by reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach.
It is widely used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), heartburn, and other acid-related conditions.
By lowering stomach acid, it helps relieve symptoms such as burning sensation, chest discomfort, and acid regurgitation.
Esowin also promotes healing of esophageal inflammation and helps prevent gastric and duodenal ulcers.
It is commonly prescribed for both short-term treatment and long-term acid control under medical supervision.

Indication
Acid-related disorders: GERD, erosive oesophagitis, peptic ulcers, H. pylori and NSAID-ulcer prophylaxis. (Gastro-resistant MUPS tablets · 20 mg & 40 mg)

Posology & Administration
GERD: 20–40 mg once daily; erosive disease usually 40 mg once daily for 4–8 weeks. Administration: take before a meal; swallow whole with water.
